Salon Policy
Conduct
1. Staff and Clients are expected to behave professionally in a manner of respect. We ask that everyone follow the Golden Rule.
2.Any Staff or Client found to behave inappropriately may be asked to leave the premises.
3. Profanity, Racial Commentary, Gender discrimination, Social disccrimination and the like are strictly prohibited.
4. Guests may utilize their mobile devices. Volume and sound must be low or personal headphones utilized. Its important that every guest is able to enjoy their service peacefully.
5. Please keep personal disputes away from our salon site. Disputes with relatives or significant others may not enter into the salon space or areas near our store.
6. We are not responsible for children. If your child is in the building, they must be seated and behaving appropriately for our professional environment. We highly recommend only children receiving services in our building; this prevents dangerous work hazards.
7. If client is uncomfortable with any portion of their service experience at Haus Davinci; please communicate with your stylist or speak with our salon owner.
8. It is every stylists responsibility to manage their own guests. We expect clear communication of guidelines and salon rules.
Our policy serves as a guide to help assist staff and clients with frequently asked questions. Concerns may arise before or after your service. Please review these guidelines in detail. Salon Policy is final. We are happy to directly answer specific questions regarding your service.
Services
1. All services at Haus DaVinci are performed by licensed cosmetologists. Service duration and pricing are determined strictly by the stylists performing each service. Our price list provides a general guideline. See your stylist for specific hair needs and pricing.
2. Client will be asked questions before and during their service to determine all hair needs. Please note pricing is adjusted based on length, texture, density and desired results.
3. We reserve the right to stop, start or cancel any service based on the expertise and comfortability of our artists.
4. Haus Davinci artists will not begin or continue a service if it is professionally uncomfortable.
5. Clients are expected to follow all care instructions to maintain their service. Haus Davinci is not liable for any results that fail to meet clients expectations. However, all stylists will professionally communicate those expectations before and during the service.
6. Clients may be asked to sign a liability waiver for services involving chemicals, extensions and other hair alterations. This form will be presented by your stylist before or during your visit.
7. We gladly accept appointments for children with supervising adult. ONLY children receiving services are permitted for prolonged visits. Haus Davinci is not responsible for child care.
Deposit
1. Appointment deposit may be required for all services within Haus Davinci. It is the discretion of our stylist to determine deposit amount based on services requested. Our stylists reserve the right to apply or waive a deposit based on our professional consultation process.
2. Calculated towards overall service total and will be credited at the completion of services.
3. Deposits are non-refundable if appointment is not rescheduled within 24/48 hours of service date/time slot. Appointments marked “no show” will forfeit deposit.
4. If client arrives more than 15 minutes late to appointment; $25 of deposit will be deducted towards LATE FEE.
5. Services requiring more than 1.5 hours of time or totaling $50 and up or may require deposit.
6. Deposit payments are accepted via credit or debit card. We DO NOT accept electronic forms of payment such as Cash App, Venmo, Apple Pay etc. You will be contacted by phone to secure your deposit privately.
7. If appointment is booked online before paying deposit; you will be contacted within 24 hours to secure prior to your service date.
Fees
*Fees are designed to protect the artistry our artists and time for our loyal clients. We expect courtesy and professionalism.
1. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment; $25 late fee will be applied to your total. Our stylists reserve the right to reschedule your appointment based on the needs of other clients and salon schedule. Be on time please.
2. If client does not communicate with our salon regarding a missed appointment; you will be asked to pay our “no show’ penalty prior to booking future services.
3. Appointments marked “no show” will be charged the full service total. Failure to pay will result in forfeiting all future service within Haus Davinci.
4. Certain appointments require up from hair fees. Your stylist will consult with you to determine your needs. Wigs, Bundles, Braiding hair and other costs will be totaled and paid up from prior to services. You may request receipt for additional costs if needed.
5. Please not additional fees will be asked based on hair texture, length, density and desired results. Our stylists will communicate this information with you at time of consultation. These fees may also be adjusted during services based on hair needs.
Parking
1. Haus Davinci is located in Columbus’ Downtown Metropolitan area. Parking is metered. It is advised to read all street signs prior to parking. Haus Davinci is not responsible for parking tickets/tow fees.
2. If client is late due to parking; stylist may charge late fee. We advise all clients to plan their trip to the salon prior to the day of service to maintain professionalism with arrival.
3. Clients maintain responsibility to locate their own parking arrangements.
Miscellaneous
1. Please discard of all trash and waste items in the appropriate containers. Plant pots, bathroom counters and salon floor is not a place to store empty food/drink containers.
2. Do not bring multiple guests with you. Our space is limited and the salon floor is designed for our artists and their guests. We are unable to provide overflow seating for additional friends and family.
3. All mobile devices must keep volume at low or utilize personal head phones.
4. Children may not be unattended. Please do not allow your children to run in our salon space, eat food on the floor or play loudly. Our guests want to relax and enjoy their service. We appreciate your understanding.
5. No smoking permitted inside our salon or in front of our building. We respect the health and preferences of our non-smoking guests.
